bartizan

Triplex Bartizan has everything that you need in a starter fertiliser for potatoes – rapid root development and a boost for early haulm growth. Potatoes have an inherently weak and inefficient root system so placing Triplex Bartizan liquid starter directly into the furrow provides the emerging plant with immediate nutrition.

Phosphate & potash for root growth, zinc & manganese for enzyme function and nitrogen with magnesium for top growth and photosynthesis. Early magnesium availability ensures that photosynthesis can run at peak efficiency right from leaf emergence to feed the expanding root system and  early manganese helps build the plant's structural defence mechanisms, enhancing resistance against diseases and safeguarding skin finish

Phosphate is the core engine of Triplex Bartizan. Potatoes require readily available phosphorus right at emergence to stimulate vigorous root development and maximize "tuber set" (the number of tubers a plant sets). UK spring soils are often cold and wet so soil-bound phosphorus becomes highly immobile; liquid placement directly next to the seed tuber piece overcomes this restriction to growth.

While potatoes require massive amounts of potassium later in the season for tuber bulking, high potassium in a starter mix raises the salt index, which risks burning fragile emerging sprouts. Triplex Bartizan keeps potassium low at planting so it can be safely supplemented later.

Apply as a starter fertiliser at planting according to a FACTS Qualified Advisors recommended rate.
