CEREAL-START
Triplex Cereal-Start is designed to encourage early rooting and nutrient uptake for fast establishment of winter cereals where a nitrogen source is not an option. In NVZ closed periods Triplex Cereal Start is the efficient way to give your crop the best possible start.
Phosphate and potash are well-known base fertilisers, but Triplex Cereal-Start includes magnesium, manganese, zinc and boron to support enzyme function and root tip cell division. Good nutrition early on is key for a healthy crop that is well placed to naturally fight off pests and diseases.
Phosphorus is highly immobile in cold, damp autumn soils. Placing a high concentration near the seed ensures the young seedling can access it immediately to build a massive root system. A strong root network allows the plant to anchor deeply, tiller effectively before winter dormancy, and pull up nutrients efficiently when spring arrives.
While many soils have decent potassium reserves, a small "starter" dose helps regulate water movement within the plant tissues, builds cell wall strength, and acts as an "antifreeze" to give the young seedlings superior frost and stress tolerance.
Apply as a starter fertiliser at drilling according to a FACTS Qualified Advisors recommended rate.
