Pulse Start

Triplex Pulse-Start has been created especially for UK pulse crops including winter & spring beans and combinable & vining peas. Many trials have shown that placing a target-tailored starter fertiliser near the seed row significantly boosts pulse establishment, early rooting, and overall yields. 

Pulse crops fix their own nitrogen through bacteria in root nodules. Applying starter nitrogen is unnecessary and can actually suppress early nodulation. Triplex Pulse-Start has no nitrogen; preventing excess early vegetative growth that weakens the standing of the plant and encourages foliar diseases. 

Phosphate is crucial for rapid early root development and driving the energy transfer needed for nitrogen fixation. UK soils frequently suffer from "phosphate lock-up" but Triplex Pulse-Start concentrates readily-available orthophosphate exactly where emerging roots can grab it before it binds to soil particles. 

Potash enhances the crop's water regulation, vascular strength, and tolerance to cold or dry UK spring conditions whilst sulphur is needed to synthesise essential proteins. 

Early inclusion of manganese helps guarantee functional cell division, zinc protects the crop’s early metabolic enzyme paths and magnesium is the core component of chlorophyll, supporting strong early photosynthesis and overall crop greening. 

Apply as a starter fertiliser at drilling or with dribble bars or umbrella nozzles from drilling through early crop development according to a FACTS Qualified Advisors recommended rate.
