sunlight

While the NPK ratio (5–2–2) of Triplex Sunlight is low, it is not intended to replace foundational soil macronutrients but its secondary nutrients, trace elements and carbon are directly tailored to support the physiological machinery of photosynthesis. To optimize photosynthetic efficiency, apply this mix during periods of high metabolic demand such as tillering, stem elongation, or pre-flowering.

Magnesium, manganese and iron are key players in photosynthesis being involved in chlorophyll synthesis and the splitting of water molecules. Manganese is a widely reported bottleneck for efficient photosynthesis in UK crops.

Sulphur, zinc and copper are enzyme activators and major structural components of the photosynthetic mechanisms, whilst boron is involved in the transport of sugars once they are made.
