YOUR SOIL

Air. Minerals. Water. Organic matter.

That is it. That is soil.

But in the wrong proportions this becomes just dirt with no capacity to support the web of life that keeps humanity alive.

Your fertiliser choices will have long lasting impacts on the biology, Physics and chemistry of your greatest asset – make sure you choose well.

Biology

From microbes to millipedes & earthworms, the soil is a dynamic ecosystem that bends, twists and sometimes breaks with the impacts of growing a crop. By overfeeding roots with fertilisers we have altered the links between crop & soil microbiology and not always in a good way. The efficiency of Triplex products and the flexibility of its application methods means that less fertiliser is used on the soil giving the biology a chance to thrive.

Chemistry

Applying nutrients does not guarantee that the crop is able to use them. There are many interactions between nutrients to either boost or reduce their availability to roots. There are also forms of nutrients that are just not available full stop. The classic example is the antagonism between potassium and magnesium. Triplex products are designed to avoid these losses and increase synergies.

Physics

The use of inorganic fertilisers, most commonly as salts, increases the osmotic potential of soil and can, in extreme examples such as drought, lead to them drawing water out of the roots and away from the crop. large amounts of potassium salts have the added problem of increasing the likelihood of soil slaking and slumping.
